Tourist Tips
As the weather is pleasant all through the year, Coonoor can be visited at any time of the year. If you do not mind crowds, tourist season normally coincide with the Annual Vegetable and Fruit Show that is held in the last week of May.

There are many trekking trails around Coonoor and our Resident Manager will be happy to guide you as well arrange the necessities.
Cycles provided at the resort can be taken on pleasure trips around the resort. Resort arranged visit to a Tea Factory will be an interesting break for you and family.
While at the resort, indoor games as well as outdoor recreation such as bonfires can be arranged according to your convenience.
There are plenty of spots to visit while at Coonoor such as Sims Park, Pomological Station , Wellington Staff College ( one of the two Defense Staff Colleges in India) and St.Catherine Falls, Law's Falls and Kattery Falls to name a few.

Walking along wooded pathways and avenues flanked by bungalows from the Raj era is a favourite pastime for many guests. Witness an excellent example of a typical Cantonment Church - St.George's Church in Wellington. Built with ochre stone with white dressings, the structure is marvelous for the eyes and soul.

Conoor is also famous for its viewpoints - Dolphin's nose, Lamb's Rock, Kodanad view point, Lady Caning's Seat. Don't forget to bring your cameras.
Traveling further one can visit Ooty, Mudumalai Reserve Forest, Pykara Lake and Masinagudi Wildlife Reserve.
